School Supplies Programs
Across the metro and surrounding areas, many organizations are offering assistance with school supplies or holding events to provide them (some in addition to other services and family fun!). United Way 2-1-1 has gathered this information and linked it all on this page.

Summer Food Service Programs
Programs like Harvesters Kids Cafe, Dotte Meals and Lunch Bunch bring meals to kids in the summer through programs at schools, libraries, community centers and more. Free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
A few Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Sites continue to be open through the fall. Those with income in 2017 below $60,000 may qualify for free preparation assistance. Click the link below for a list of the site assisting, the eligibility criteria, documentation needed and information on how to get help.

United Way 2-1-1 Partners with Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line is a national text hotline that serves anyone, in any type of crisis, providing access to free, confidential 24/7 support and information via the medium people already use and trust: text. Now you can text “UNITE” to 741741 from anywhere in the United States, anytime, and text with a Crisis Counselor that will listen, respond, problem solve, and help you work through that crisis moment. If you need resources, the Crisis Counselor may refer you back to 2-1-1 for local resources.
